Fateme Safartalab
I'm Fateme Safartalab, born in 1987 in Iran. I was so interested in Iranian art and handcrafts. That inspired me to study "Handcraft" and "Fashion Designing" at Tehran University Faculty of Art, where I could obtain my MSc degree from it. It was one of the best decisions that I made in my life, which me to the field of the jewelry. After being graduated, I started working as a jewelry designer at a studio. After four years of working in the studio, I decided to build up my brand and designs.
My Story
Iranian art, the motifs and all those reach designs are so beautiful. Always, I was dreaming of designing a jewelry collection with those phenomenon shapes and motifs and make it contemporary unique. I am delighted to have a chance to show that reach historical art in a purely new innovative way in my designs. All my designs have a symbolic piece of those arts and that rich history behind.
My mission
My mission is to deliver a design that conveys a message and has a story to tell. My collections are limited to small quantities, have IDs and descriptions.
I attended several exhibitions like the Iranian jewelry designers exhibition at the International Exhibition of Tehran in 2017. Also, Splendida Persia in Italy (2018)
This brooch is made of 3 elements: brass, cotton and pearl. As a symbol of the Golestan beautiful nature, a region in the northeast of Iran.
It reminds me of my childhood playing at my grandfather's farm. For designing it, I followed the cotton bloom shape and even material of it along with the architecture of the world's tallest brick tower in Golestan to remind the rich history of the region.
The designs are a combination of traditional and contemporary art that is suitable for every occasion and style.
